I remembered the dish that my mother used. That is
More Rasam.
I share this with you all.

2. Water 3 cups
3. Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
4. Hing little
5. Salt to taste
6. Rice flour 1 tsp
7. Omam (Ajwain ) 11/2 tsp
8. Grated ginger 1/4 tsp

For Seasoning:
1. Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
2. Dry Red Chillies 2 (broken into pieces)
3. Curry leaves
.

Method:
1. Dry Roast Omam till it pops open and keep it aside.
2. Dilute the curd and churn nicely.
3. Now in that add Rice flour, Salt, Hing , Grated ginger and Turmeric powder.

My mom makes this when we have stomach problems. It like a more healthful option to plain yogurt and the omam improves digestion. I like to make this on normal days also, but my hubby considers it very boring.

Hello,
Nice recipe. Just tried it out -- but wasn't sure about the Ajawain seeds. Do you just fry and leave them out or do you add them into the rasam at all?

Taste was pretty good!
