Wow MT! Very nice recipe. I came across it today and cooked it instantly, given I had all the ingredients on hand :) and must say, it came out great, except for the fact that I used 2 cups of semiya and thought i have to double the water content. I was wrong, so it turned out a bit soggy but tasted yumm. Next time I know....
Thanks for the new recipe MT.

Great recipe MT! I usually use ginger, chilli and cardamom for the masala … but using garlic and fennel really enhanced the flavour of the biryani Thanks!

Hi MT!
This is my favourite snack since my childhood!
We used to make it as an evening snack or prepare when unexpected guests turn out at non main meal times in Mumbai few years back.

Just a correction, you may not call it a 'Biryani', rather call it 'Pulav'.

The reason is wonderfully explained by Wudhi at:
http://wudhi.com/recipes/dave%20on%20curry.htm#biryani
Hope you agree with it!
